Through the kind offices of Mr Ellis - housemaster and a previous member of Cliftonville Hockey Club - the 1st XI were invited to the Eerdë school - a co-ed school in Northern Holland.
The photo - taken, we believe, by "Tommy" Thomas - shows the team mid-munch on choc ices. In shot are: O White, Mr Dennis Woods, John Darby, Mr. I McGinn, D Collison, P Arnold, R Davies, K Nicholls (capt), D Lunn, V Thomas, and Adrian Taylor. (Dally Mankellow, being of diminutive stature, was behind the group, and therefore obscured).
