A cricket match was held on 15th September 1945 between the British Empire XI and "A Kent XI" at Chatham House in aid of the Red Cross and St John (Ambulance). OR Chris Carr was there and managed to get autographs from some of the players!

Sadly the cricket ground is being reduced to 3 pitches this year (2026) from the original 5 at the School to cater for the changing priorities of today's students.
