Chairman’s Report October 2022
This, the latest newsletter, has been possible after we recently received a large number of articles which are included.
You will find the minutes of the 2022 AGM and a short write up of the Annual dinner, held at the School in Chatham Street. The menu and food was organised by the School’s catering staff.
The after dinner presentation was given by Mr. Lenny Clarke, a guide at Canterbury Cathedral, who discussed at length on the ancient and historic building and events that have occurred over the centuries. Many thanks to Carole Copeland for organising the speaker this year.
During last month a couple of the committee attended a meeting of the Combined Cadet Force – CCGS Contingent at the old Chatham House Grammar School grounds, where we presented a cheque for a donation agreed at the AGM.
We also received a couple of reports on the OR Cricket Week in August and the Annual Golf day at North Foreland golf course.
